Cancellation & Refund Policy

This is what you pay us for designing your trip and arranging every booking in it. It is our own fee, and it is the only amount this policy controls. Our service levels are Select at £499 and Signature at £999. Private Office engagements are quoted individually and the cancellation terms for those are agreed with you in writing before any work begins.

Because our fee pays for work rather than for a product, the refundable portion reduces as that work is carried out. The windows below apply from the moment you pay.

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method within 14 days of us confirming the refund. We do not charge an administration fee for processing a refund.

Many Dubai venues require a deposit, a table spend or a minimum spend to hold a table, a day bed, a vessel, a suite or a vehicle. That money belongs to the venue or supplier, not to us, even where we passed it on for you. Whether it can be recovered depends entirely on that supplier's own rules, and we cannot refund money we do not hold.

We will always tell you, before you commit, what a supplier requires up front and whether it is refundable on the terms we have been given.

Each supplier sets its own cancellation notice, penalties and no-show treatment. In Dubai these commonly range from 24 to 72 hours' notice for restaurants and day beds, and up to 14 days for charters, villas and large-group bookings. Those terms govern your reservation with that supplier and are not altered by anything in this policy.

A no-show is treated by most suppliers as a full charge. If your plans change on the day, tell us immediately and we will do everything we reasonably can to release or move the arrangement.

Tell us as early as you can, using any of the contact channels on this website. We will contact every affected supplier, tell you exactly what each one says, and confirm in writing what has been cancelled and what it costs. We will never tell you something is cancelled until the supplier has confirmed it to us, and your trip portal will always show the real status rather than an assumed one.

Where you want to move a date, change a party size or swap a venue, we treat that as a change rather than a cancellation and there is no additional My Guy Dubai fee for it within the same trip. Any supplier charge for the change is passed on to you at cost, and we will tell you the amount before we accept it on your behalf.

Where a venue closes, a charter is cancelled for sea or weather conditions, or a licensing or government decision makes an arrangement impossible, we will rearrange it where we can or help you recover what the supplier allows. Our own fee covers the work of doing that and is treated under the windows in section 1.

This policy sits alongside our Terms of Service and does not remove any statutory cancellation or consumer right that applies to you. If you believe a refund has been handled unfairly, tell us and we will acknowledge it within 5 working days and give you a substantive response within 28 days.
