Privacy Notice
Version 1.0 · Effective 19 August 2026
This notice explains in plain terms what My Guy Dubai holds about you, why we hold it, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and the rights you have over it. We collect only what we genuinely need to design your Dubai trip and arrange the bookings in it.
1. Who is responsible for your data
My Guy Dubai is the data controller for the personal information described in this notice. You can contact us about privacy using any of the contact details published on this website, marking your message "Privacy". If you have a data protection request, tell us clearly what you are asking for so we can act on it quickly.

We also record basic technical information when you use the site, such as the pages you visit and general device information, so we can keep the service working and secure. We do not sell personal information, we do not run advertising profiling on this site, and we do not publish your itinerary. A trip you choose to share is shared through a read-only link that you control and can rotate at any time.
3. Children
Our service is intended for adults. Where your party includes children, we hold only what you tell us about them, normally ages and any dietary or accessibility needs, and only so that a venue can host them properly. We do not knowingly collect information directly from children.
4. Our lawful bases
Contract. We use your name, contact details, trip details and itinerary to provide the service you have engaged us for, and to arrange bookings on your behalf.
Legitimate interests. We use limited information to keep the site secure, to prevent fraud and abuse, to keep our venue information accurate, and to improve how we plan trips. We balance this against your interests and use the minimum information needed.
Consent. We rely on your consent for optional marketing messages and for any non-essential cookies. You can withdraw consent at any time without affecting the service you have already engaged.
Legal obligation. We keep payment and accounting records because tax and accounting law requires it.
Where you tell us about dietary, accessibility or medical needs, we treat that as sensitive information and share it with a venue only where it is necessary to host you safely, on the basis of your explicit consent given when you tell us.
5. How long we keep it
| Record | How long we keep it |
|---|---|
| Enquiries that never become a trip | 12 months from your last contact with us |
| Trip records and itineraries | 24 months after your trip, so we can help you plan again |
| Portal messages and arrangement notes | 24 months after your trip |
| Payment and invoice records for our fee | 6 years, to meet accounting and tax obligations |
| Marketing consent records | Until you withdraw consent, then 24 months as proof it was withdrawn |
When a period ends we delete the record or reduce it to anonymous statistics that can no longer identify you. If you ask us to delete your information sooner, we will, except where we must keep a payment record to meet a legal obligation.
6. Who we share it with
To deliver the service we use a small number of providers, each of which acts on our instructions: a managed cloud database and authentication provider that stores your trip and secures staff accounts; an email provider that sends your confirmations and trip link; an AI provider that helps design your itinerary from the brief you give us; a web research provider used to keep venue information accurate; and a payment provider that processes our fee. We do not give any of them permission to use your information for their own purposes.
Venues and suppliers receive only what is needed to make a reservation, typically a name, a party size, a time and any dietary or accessibility requirement. We will also disclose information where the law requires it, or to protect the safety of a guest, a supplier or our team.
7. International transfers
Because we plan trips in Dubai, some information is necessarily sent outside the United Kingdom and the European Economic Area, including to venues and suppliers in the United Arab Emirates, and some of our providers process data in other countries. Where we transfer information outside the UK or EEA, we rely on approved safeguards such as standard contractual clauses, or on the transfer being necessary to perform the contract with you, for example to make a reservation you have asked for.
8. Security
Your trip record is held in a managed database with access controls, encryption in transit, and staff access limited to the people who need it. Your private trip link acts as a key to your itinerary: treat it as confidential, share it only with people you trust, and rotate it from your portal if you think it has been seen by someone else.
9. Cookies
We use essential cookies and similar storage to keep the site working and to remember your trip while you are planning. Non-essential cookies are used only with your consent. Our Cookie Notice explains this in more detail.
10. Your rights
You have the right to ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, to receive it in a portable format, and to withdraw consent where we rely on it. Your trip record is the single place your personal details live, so both export and deletion are straightforward.
Ask us using the contact details on this website and we will respond within one month. We do not charge for a request, and we will only ask you to confirm your identity where we genuinely need to protect your information.
11. Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, tell us first and we will try to put it right. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, or to the data protection regulator in your own country of residence.
12. Changes to this notice
We may update this notice. The version number and effective date at the top of this page always identify the version in force, and we will tell you directly if we make a change that materially affects how we use your information.
